Hi. My name is Scott and I am a voiceover artist.
I was born in the midwestern-USA, and grew up dreaming of being a radio DJ. I fulfilled that dream and much more. I used to do this job as a side-gig. When I retired from my "real" job I went full-time with voice acting and I'm loving it.
I am a graduate of the Columbia School of Broadcasting and I have decades of radio production, on-air and podcasting experience. Back in the days of disc jockeys, I held an FCC Class III license with Endorsement. (Yes, I passed the dreaded Element 9!)
I have received the designation Certified Radio Marketing Consultant from RAB (The Radio Advertising Bureau) and I won a Webby Award for my work in podcasting.
I've written, edited, voiced and produced more than 100 radio & television spots and worked on more than 1000 individual podcast episodes including the first photography podcast (I co-founded TWIP - This Week in Photography) and MacBreakWeekly on the TWIT (This Week in Tech) Network with Leo Laporte.
In the 1990s, I co-found Net.Radio - the first music-only Internet Radio Station which later went public and spawned a generation of streaming media music.
You can put my expertise to work on your next project. Email scott@voiceoverauthority.com to get started.
